     Our Treeless Leather Flex Western Saddles have a stiff Pommel and Cantle, but bars made of leather and foam. These bars form to the horses back and move as the horse does. The stiff pommel keeps the saddle from laying on the withers and spine. Now horses who formerly were bothered by a treeless saddle can wear one!! No bridging and no spine pressure. Even narrow small horses can be fitted, as the Leather Flex saddle comes in 3 gullet widths. The pommel is wood covered with rawhide and sits on either side of the withers in the wither pocket. The Cantle is made of rigid foam to give support. The leather and foam bars lay on either side of the back bone and leave a nice air channel down the spine. A Skito pad completes the package to insure your horse is comfortable and dry while you ride or train.

     This saddle is sized like a regular western saddle. The seat is open and flat so you can move around. The horn can be either tall and narrow like a barrel saddle or can have a short two" post horn for the roper look. Choose either a Cheyanne roll or straight cantle. Decorate with rawhide, or leave plain.

     Make a solid color, or mix leather colors for more style. Round or square skirts.
